Cinco de MindSpring Is Back and Better Than Ever!
by MindSpring Partners on May 10, 2022 in MindSpring News
We’re thrilled to have celebrated our 5th annual Cinco de MindSpring event in person with our employees and clients once again this year. Each year around Cinco de Mayo, we invite our team and clients to our Loop offices in downtown Chicago for a celebration of partnership and all we’ve accomplished together.
Since 2019, we’ve been unable to hold our fiesta in person due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Though we’ve enjoyed our digital celebrations, there’s nothing quite like the excitement and sense of community sharing a meal in person together brings. This year, with our party falling on the official Cinco de Mayo holiday, we invited everyone to kick off their evening with us before they headed to celebrations around the city.
The MindSpring team was overjoyed to welcome our wonderful clients back into our offices and introduce them to our newest MindSpringers— most of whom were celebrating their first (of many) Cincos! We celebrated with live mariachi music, games and indulging in tasty margaritas, guacamole, salsa, and— maybe a few too many – delicious tacos from Antique Taco.
Cinco de MindSpring is not only a time for us to celebrate our team’s and clients’ growth, but also a time for us to give back to the community in which we live and work. This year, we’re donating $500, equal to 1,500 meals, to the Greater Chicago Food Depository and honoring our pledge to support them during every Cinco de MindSpring celebration. Their work, in partnership with No Kid Hungry, will be incredibly impactful, especially in the summer days ahead with children unable to receive meals at school.
After three years of not celebrating Cinco de MindSpring in our offices, our team is incredibly grateful to all our amazing clients and team members who chose to start their Cinco de Mayo celebrations with us. We thank you for your continued partnership and support, and we’re already looking forward to next year!
