Our 3rd Annual Cinco de MindSpring Offered Food and Fun for All

Our candidates, clients, and employees mean the world to us. That’s why whenever we can, we like to take some time and say thank you in a really personable way. And around this time of year, we like to say thanks through an event we call Cinco de MindSpring.
Cinco de MindSpring began as a relatively small get together, where we had a potluck for our team and everyone brought in their favorite Tex-Mex dish. We figured that the combination of great people and good food was a no-brainer. Our employees loved the time together, and the event went so well that we decided to kick the event up a few notches and extend invites to our clients.
This year, we celebrated our third annual Cinco de MindSpring, and it was another blast. Our team and a number of our clients gathered in our Loop offices for an afternoon of food, drink, and good company. We catered in food from Antique Taco, the home of some of the best tacos in the Chicagoland area (seriously, you need to try their carnitas or chicken tacos, you can’t go wrong either way). Our guests also enjoyed some great beer, wine and margaritas as they mingled and enjoyed the afternoon.
We also had the incredible pleasure of hearing a one-of-a-kind mariachi band, Cielito Lindo, perform traditional mariachi and Mexican music for us. The group is comprised of members of the very talented Lucero family, who range in age from 11 on up (the youngest has vocal pipes like you wouldn’t believe, and blew us all away). On top of all of the food and fun, our clients valued being able to meet the whole MindSpring team. Since our clients work with one point of contact, they know the effort our entire team makes on their behalf in the search for amazing professional talent, but don’t always get a chance to connect. Coming into our office for Cinco de MindSpring gives them that opportunity.
“We really value face-to-face time with our clients, and an event like Cinco de MindSpring is a great way to strengthen our partnerships and familiarize them with the entire MindSpring team,” said Gavin Meacham, our Managing Principal. “Plus, who doesn’t love tacos?”
We’re thankful for our team, clients, and even former MindSpring alums who made it out and contributed to one of the best Cinco de MindSpring events on the books.
