Cinco de MindSpring Celebrates Another Year of Growth, Success, & Fun

Every year, we round up our employees and clients to celebrate Cinco de Mayo with food and entertainment in our Loop offices. It’s our little way of showing just how much we appreciate the awesome people that we get to work with every day. This Cinco de MindSpring tradition has continued to grow over the past four years, becoming a highly anticipated, and super fun, event.

 

The festivities kicked off with Cielito Lindo, a local mariachi band. The group is made up of a 9-person family, with members ranging from just 5 years old all the way up to 16. The entire Lucero tribe is extraordinarily talented and has been invited to perform all over Chicago, including at Bulls games, Millennium Park, and the Art Institute of Chicago. Their performance was undoubtedly a major highlight of the afternoon – the authentic tunes even inspired a conga line that weaved throughout the whole office!

 

The incredible music was accompanied by delicious food and drink from Antique Taco. As per usual, they served up the best tacos, guacamole, and salsa in the city – their pork carnitas tacos with bacon layered on top were a total hit (seriously, next time you’re in the city, you have to try one.) Plus, our team members and guests got to spend some quality one-on-one time over great beer, wine, and margaritas.

 

What made this Cinco de MindSpring especially exciting for our team was the huge turnout! It was the largest yet, with over 30 clients and their guests joining us for lots of food and fun. We’re beyond grateful to work for a community of passionate and hard-working individuals – the fact that they’re also a great time is just the cherry on top for us. There’s nothing we enjoy more than experiences like these that allow us to show our appreciation for everything that they do.

 

Thank you to everyone that contributed to making this event a resounding success. We can’t wait to see even more of our team, clients, and former MindSpring alums at next year’s Cinco, Cinco de MindSpring!
