Cinco de MindSpring’s Digital Fiesta Celebrates Success and Partnership

Over the past four years, Cinco de MindSpring has become an important tradition for the MindSpring team. Every year in early May, we gather together employees and clients in our Loop offices in downtown Chicago to celebrate our partnerships and the awesome people we get to work with. We were looking forward to continuing the tradition this year with our fifth Cinco de MindSpring celebration, but unfortunately, COVID-19 had other plans.
 
Never ones to miss the chance for a fiesta, our team decided that, despite social distancing and quarantine, we were still going to celebrate. So, we took the party online! We shared in the Cinco de MindSpring festivities by participating in virtual games and indulging in margaritas and tacos from neighborhood spots like Xoco, Café Tola, Tacos Tequilas, and La Cantina South Loop. Plus, our favorite local mariachi band, Cielito Lindo, recorded a greeting and a few songs for the celebrations. Check it out!
 

 

Of course, we didn’t want our clients and partners to miss out on the fun or #tacotuesday, so we raffled off five $50 e-gift cards to Antique Taco. Cinco de MindSpring celebrations just wouldn’t have felt complete without some of their amazing tacos, guacamole, and salsa. Congrats to all our raffle winners!
 

Not being able to gather in person around great food for our annual fiesta also reminded us of the importance and enjoyment a meal can bring. So MindSpring decided to give back during these tough times by donating $500 (that’s 1500 meals!) to the Greater Chicago Food Depository. Their work, alongside No Kid Hungry, is making an important impact during this pandemic and we’ll be supporting them as part of our celebrations not just this year, but every Cinco de MindSpring moving forward.
 

While we’re bummed we didn’t get to celebrate one of our favorite (unofficial) holidays in person, we are planning to host an event later in the year when social distancing rules have relaxed. Until then, thank you for your continued partnership and support. We’re grateful for our team and all the awesome clients we get to work with, and we look forward to hanging out with you all again soon!
